The Gathering
Come Be Nourished — Body, Mind, and Soul
wednesdays at 6:00pm
At Living Spirit Centre, we gather to worship, eat, connect, serve, and learn together. The Gathering: Wednesdays at 6 PM, join us for a gentle worship with an informal vibe. We begin with 15 minutes of gentle music followed by a service with song, reflection, and prayer that lasts less than an hour. Communion is celebrated on the first Wednesday of the month.
Worship is followed by a community meal in a warm, inclusive setting. Children are welcome: legos, colouring books and other crafts are available in the sanctuary.
All are welcome, come as you are.

Our Values
Living Spirit Centre is a campus of Hillhurst United Church, an affirming congregation. At Living Spirit, we are rooted in the Christian contemplative tradition and grounded in values of Social justice, Radical hospitality, and Spirituality, and Risk. We welcome spiritual seekers, skeptics, longtime believers, and everyone in between.
We honour the land we gather on, the stories that have brought us here, and the Spirit moving in our midst.
Programs
At Living Spirit Centre, we offer many paths to enriching your spiritual life including meditation, drumming, music, and other groups.Our groups work on a drop-in basis and are free of charge, although we gratefully accept donations.
Mini-Musicians:
A 10-week early childhood music program invites children ages 0–5 and their caregivers to sing, dance, and make music together, 10 AM Monday mornings at the Living Spirit Centre
Wisdom Journey:
Join us at 7 PM on Tuesday evenings for a time of wisdom teaching, shared reflection and connectionin community.
Illuman Men’s Group:
All men are invited to join us every second Friday at 3 PM to explore men’s issues and cultivate wholehearted living.
One Drum:
The first Friday of the Month, 7-9 PM at the Living Spirit Centre, participants drum, share in community, and ground in presence, open to all ages 12 and up.
Morning Meditation (online group):
Join us online daily (except Wednesdays and Sundays) from 7–7:30 AM for a simple morning practice of presence with centering, meditation or journaling, and brief sharing in community.
Land Acknowledgment
We are located the traditional territories of the people of the Treaty 7 region which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprisingthe Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations). The City of Calgary is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta. We offer this acknowledgement as a reminder that we are Treaty People. May we live with respect on this land, and in peace and friendship with all our relations..
Garden and Labyrinth

The Living Spirit Labyrinth is a sacred space for reflection, prayer, and renewal, open to all who wish to walk its path. In collaboration with the Windsor Park community, we are now planning a companion community garden that will further enrich this space as a place of beauty, connection, and shared belonging.
