Director of Church Operations
Part time - Hourly - In person
Hillhurst United Church (HUC) is seeking a Director of Church Operations. In this role, you will nurture strong relationships and ensure faithful stewardship of Hillhurst United Church's people, resources, and operations. You will support a vibrant and growing community by providing clear, compassionate, and effective leadership of day-to-day operations.
Working closely with the Treasurer and Finance Committee, you will oversee financial stewardship ensuring responsible management, transparency, and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. You'll also lead facility operations, keeping the building safe, welcoming, and well cared for in support of congregational life and community use.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will report to the Board and collaborate with the minister(s), with guidance and support from the Human Resources Support Team (HRST).
Sound Technician
Part time - Hourly - In person
Hillhurst United Church seeks a skilled and reliable Sound Technician to support Sunday worship, events through high-quality audio and visual production. This position works closely with clergy, musicians, staff, and volunteers to ensure clear sound, smooth livestreams, and a supportive worship environment. The successful candidate will bring technical expertise, calm presence, and a collaborative spirit to live services and events.
