Phased Return to the Building | November 19, 2021 Update
Phase 1 - November, 2021
Select small groups resume in-person gathering at the church
Double vaccinations are required for participation of non-essential programs (i.e. non-worship)
Small ministry activities are considered optional activities and do not fall within the provincial exemption program.
If you are not double vaccinated and would like to attend a small group ministry activity, contact the office for a confidential conversation at office@hillhurstunited.com.
Installation of Medify MA-112 Air Purifiers with H13 True HEPA filters in meeting areas
C02 monitors installed in certain areas of the building
Spaces will be fully vented for 10 minutes after 1 hour of continuous usage (doors and windows open and fans operational)
Masks must be worn at all times while indoors (surgical and N95 preferred to cloth)
6-foot distancing must be maintained at all times
Children Ages 5 - 11 Protocols
Children coming into the building are not required to be vaccinated
All children in this age range will be required to fill out a screening test before attending a program
Masks are required at all times using a child sized N95 mask
All child-friendly events will be held in the gym for the time being
Phase 2 - Tentative Date: February, 2022
This phase will provide space for our services to resume live recording on Sunday mornings (i.e. not pre-recorded)
Staff and volunteers will film in-person on Sunday mornings
This will allow staff and volunteers time to adjust to live recording before returning to in-person services in Phase 3
This period will be at least one month. COVID protocols and requirements will be adjusted to include the current public health accordances as well as board recommendations
Phase 3 - Tentative Date: TBD
This phase of our reopening plan will include live in-person Sunday worship with congregants
Participation requirements will be announced closer to this date and will be in accordance with current public health protocols and requirements
